Though Texas became home, Terry never lost his childhood fascination with the Sonoran Desert. In 2007, he followed his heart to the desert and has cherished it ever since. Kathleen McKenzie, Co-Owner and Realtor® of Katerra Realty, has called the Valley of the Sun home since she was four, after her early years as an Air Force brat. Growing up in the area, she has seen its remarkable transformation firsthand. Kathleen’s passion for real estate began in childhood, inspired by her love for drawing floorplans, designing homes, and exploring model homes. While she holds a degree in Exercise Science from Arizona State University, it was purchasing her first family home with her husband that truly ignited her real estate career. This milestone deepened her belief that "home is where the heart is" and motivated her to help others find their perfect place.
